How to Print NYSC Green Card (2024 Batch B)

NYSC stands for National Youth Service Corps. It is a one-year compulsory program founded by the Nigerian government for graduates of tertiary institutions who are below the age of 30.

The program is mainly established to promote national unity, development, and integration by deploying fresh Nigerian graduates across the country to different segments of the economy.

After completing the NYSC online registration process, PCMs re expected to print the NYSC green card. The green card serves as a proof that you have successfully completed the online registration.

You must print the Green Card and take it along with you unless you are not going for the 21-day stay in the orientation camp at the moment due to one or two reasons best known to you, or you are exempted from participating in orientation courses due to your age being above 30 or you are part-time student.

All Nigerian graduates under thirty (30) can partake in the orientation courses. To participate in the NYSC program, you must first obtain the NYSC Green Card.

What is an NYSC Green Card?

The NYSC Green Card also known as Green slip is not a card as the name indicates, and it is not in green color although some green font colors are used in designing it.

The NYSC Green Card is a document that serves as proof of a prospective corps member’s readiness to partake in the NYSC program in Nigeria.

It contains some information such as the name of the prospective corps member, the institution attended, and the course of study.

How to Print NYSC Green Card

• Visit the NYSC Online Portal via https://portal.nysc.gov.ng
• Login with your email address and password you used during the registration process
• After login to your dashboard, scroll down till you see “print slip”.
• Click on it to print your green card
